Portrait of Play 2018, Week 9

I always forget about the sink bath. Possibly it’s because I hardly ever give my kids baths…or possibly it’s because the sink is never actually clean enough for a bath. This particular morning I did the dishes as I normally do during breakfast and cleaned out the sink as Roland wiped yogurt all over himself (as he normally does). This time, though, I thought it would be great to give him a sink bath to clean him up. The girls were as excited as I expected them to be to help out, and it took very little time before they decided they needed swimsuits on. Roland had a blast and decided to make it difficult for me to document the experience by standing up and trying to climb out of the sink . As soon as he got out, Winnie got in. I guess she wanted to make up for all the missed opportunities for sink baths for her.
