My friends Tim and my cousin Jason and his wife Heidi were visiting over the new year. The weather was very cold the whole time, but we made it outside on one sunny day to explore Arabia Mountain. Our friend Ian came along too. The girls had lots of hands to hold and people to play with as they ran around the trails and rocks. Chuck had to pee of course, and it was really hard to try to help her while wearing Roland…especially since she was wearing two jackets and overalls. Winnie got a kick out of the ice we found, and Charlotte slipped on it, making me realize that they’ve never had to figure out how to walk on ice. We didn’t last too long, but the kids could have stayed much longer making fires with rocks and playing pine cone hockey.
