Papou called and asked if we wanted a couple toys for the kids that he got for free from somewhere. We immediately told him no, but then what he was describing made me realize we could keep it outside. So Roland got a new ride, and Chuck got a bike to use when she outgrows her current bike. The girls fought over pushing him around the backyard until it got dark, and I realized how incredibly awesome it was to be outside without him attached to my body or having to pull leaves and acorns out of his mouth. Sometimes you’ve got to be able to strap them in, so you can relax long enough to break up a fight between two tired sisters. At least the fighting is very entertaining to Roland.
