Just an ordinary afternoon…everyone doing their own thing. The girls were putting on cattoos with a friend who was about to be picked up. Roland was hanging out on the floor. After their friend left, Charlotte wanted me to play Pass the Pig with her. I didn’t want to. Winnie went from playing with the dollhouse to playing with dolls. She always goes to sit at the back of the house with her dolls like this, or on the floor in front of the door. The spot has been claimed as their pretend car. She was also bouncing her baby on her leg and singing, “Car, Car,” like she always wants me to do to her. Roland wiggled himself off the sheepskin, so I put him in the bouncy chair. He seemed quite pleased with the new location, and we chatted about it for a bit. James came up and mentioned he needed to make a trip to Lowes, so the girls rushed to get their babies ready and strapped on their backs so they could all ride together in the car, car.
