It got cold all of a sudden, and it would bother me more if it weren’t so sunny. We really need rain here, but I’m not going to lie, I love the sunshine. I need the sunshine. It’s really helped keep me out of a funk of despair from the post-election news that just keeps getting worse. I’ve got a lot to be thankful for, but it feels a little gross to celebrate Thanksgiving this year when colonialism is all too present in the story we are writing as a country. Thinking of everyone at Standing Rock heavily this week.
