Things that I want to remember. Tuesdays with Nina. First friendships. Winnie and her baby doll that she wraps up in at least one blanket and carries around everywhere. Her doll’s chewed up sleeve from where she sucks on it. Charlotte’s hair that she is trying to grow out (even though I keep trying to convince her to keep her bob). Winnie’s mullet that I just can’t cut for fear of losing her hint of curls that are barely hanging on. The little pink and green Tegu magnet blocks that Winnie always carries around pretending to be a phone. The cooler almost fall mornings where we leave the kitchen door open and use the deck as a playroom. Charlotte’s current obsession with The Little Mermaid. Charlotte’s current affectionate phase, where she tells me she loves me multiple times a day and gives me plenty of “hugkisses” (you hug and kiss at the same time quickly). The constant struggle to keep anything clean. The many costume changes in one day. The little girls who are getting so tall and so big so very quickly.
