Georgia is beautiful. When we first moved here, I was struck by all the trees, but mostly I just wanted to be warm. There are so many more places to discover, mountains, lakes, and beaches only hours away. Over the break, we spent some time at Panola Mountain, a place we drive by every time we go to my in laws. It’s not so much a mountain as it is a giant slab of granite, but it’s the perfect size to hike around with kids. This was a good reminder to spend more time this year discovering and exploring more of the beauty around me.
